From your key to the first request

Create a separate key for each integration. A key belongs to one project; requests never select a projectId.

  1. Sign in to your project → Settings → Developer API. The owner enables Project API; enable Contacts under Modules for the first example. Key issuance requires settings permission and a current code when account TOTP is enabled.
  2. The key form includes five base CRM read scopes, including crm.clients.read. Add write scopes only as needed. Store the token in your secret manager: it is shown once on creation or rotation.
  3. Replace YOUR_NOVA_HOST and YOUR_PROJECT_TOKEN below. /api is the base path; /v1 is the REST API version.

Never put keys in URLs, browser JavaScript or logs. Bearer credentials cannot issue or revoke keys. Removing creator access or disabling a module can also stop the integration.

Sandbox

In deployments that support sandbox, Developer API settings can create a separate test project and key. Payments, live delivery and external Integration credentials are unavailable. CRM API and webhook availability depends on selected modules. This public portal never sends requests on your behalf.
