Versions and compatibility

REST API v1 is selected in the path. OpenAPI version describes the document format, webhook api_version describes its payload, and .v1 in type is the event version: these are distinct.

The API is in private preview. best_effort_additive compatibility is checked using generated OpenAPI. Public SLA, deprecation windows and OAuth are not established. Accept unknown additive fields; breaking changes require a separately designed version and migration guidance.
